Did you ever wonder why fighters have such great looking lean bodies? Wouldn’t you like to look like that and be in the best shape of your life? Wouldn’t it be cool for you to learn something valuable for your own self-protection at the same time? Are you tired of just going to the gym and using the circuit or running on the treadmill? Don’t you want to learn how to
Kick- butt for real? Do you think learning to be a lethal weapon looks like fun? If you need more than just a gym to work out at, then Pittsburgh Fight Club is right for you.
At Pittsburgh Fight Club , I use some of the same training methods for training women that I use for training Professional Ultimate Fighters. The only difference is that I reduce the amount of hard contact. However, I still allow you to train just as intensely as a fighter! I literally teach you how to think and train better! You’ll be training your entire body and mind. You’ll learn to train: your legs and rear end with body weight and free weights. Jump rope, run roadwork, and hit focus mitts for cardio. Slip punches to slim your waste. Throw sound kicks and punches for coordination. Hit a heavy bag for a muscle tone in your upper body, and have a lot of fun learning valuable self-defense skill with defensive grappling or isolated sparring! I truly believe this to be the best way to train your entire body completely, inside and out, and from head to toe!
You may go straight into learning to defend yourself in a simple, practical progression of scenarios and techniques. The self-defense training goes beyond just the physical to include the psychological and the emotional responses to fear. I emphasize understanding potential problems in reacting to fear and workshop building confidence to respond to an assault. This initial approach may also be modified at any time to incorporate an improved physical performance with martial fitness conditioning to enhance the physical effectiveness of your self-defense.
On the other hand, you may choose to concentrate on the fitness aspect of your training. This gives you a sexy body with athletic muscle tone and strong cardiovascular health. I use kick-boxercise, weight training and other types of martial fitness to promote endurance, tone, balance, strength, flexibility, and a strong heart. I emphasize having fun and working up a good sweat with this kind of program. This type of training also lends itself readily to encompassing a solid base for actual self-offensive techniques if you wish.
PFC Synergy
You may decide to combine these two programs for the ultimate blend of training. These programs are designed to flow into each other, and are interchangeable. In this way my system allows individuals to seek out the ratio that works best for them, to help them find a system of their own at which to become satisfied and proficient. In this blended approach, I use special sequences of self-defense and offense techniques that I designed to be integrated right into your martial fitness workout. I have developed this system over my 20 plus years as a martial artist and professional fighter. I am positive you will find this to be the best investment of you time you can make and the most fun working out you will ever have!
