Shop Assistant: Maintained and inventoried motion picture lighting and grip equipment. Packed and checked in trucks with rental orders for commercials and movies. I was also hired independently to drive the trucks. I worked full time but on a freelance basis which gave me some freedom to pursue work on shoots.

Studio Production Assistant: I was involved in film and video productions, photo shoots and day to day running of the studio. It was a two-man work environment, which enabled me to be involved in every aspect of production. Providing high end products for low budgets, we created national commercials, documentaries, instructional videos and feature films. We had a full grip and lighting truck package, 16mm film package, video package and a 5000 sq. ft. studio. I also assisted Tom in teaching his LIGHTING FOR VIDEO-FILM STYLE classes designed for video professionals. The class has since gone nationwide.
